Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is Michael Maienleaving the company.
A $4.48 billion deal in which Verizon will subsume Yahoo's business operations has led to her resignation, though she stashed away $23 million on the way out.

Despite the divorce of Mayer and Yahoo, her departure was somewhat expected as a part of this deal.
Verizon, which owns AOL, will now combine AOL and Yahoo into a media operation known as Oath, which posted a promo video on Twitter early Tuesday morning.

By their powers combined, the operation — which features names from Tech Crunchto HuffPost— will reportedly reach around one billion consumers.
