The game's latest update -- dubbed "Pathfinder Update" -- adds a handful of new features to the game, including a permadeath mode, base-sharing via Steam Workshop, ship specializations, ground vehicles, a wider range of graphics settings and PlayStation 4 Pro support. Pathfinder's new-and-improved photo modes lets you untether the camera, so you can pan around to set up your perfect shot and snap exterior views of your ship(s). You can also change the time of day, cloud layers, or fog density and add an assortment of filters.

No Man's Skyis already a gorgeous game, so new photo features that open up the degree of screenshot customization are welcome. Dead End Thrills posted a bunch of shots already, but the rest of the No Man's Sky-loving internet is starting to catch on as well.
