Okay009 Archives so it's not new footage from Season 3, but let's take a moment to freak out about about the Outlandervideo that was posted by the show's official Twitter account to celebrate World Outlander Day.

You're darn right, Outlanderhas its own day!
June 1 marks the 26th anniversary of the date Diana Gabaldon's Outlanderwas published, and series stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe took the opportunity to give fans three special reasons to look forward to Season 3:

Lovely bunches of coconuts
While they might seem cryptic, the teases should mean something to fans who've read Voyager, the third book in Gabaldon's Outlanderseries, on which Season 3 is based -- and all three refer to moments that are fairly pivotal, for reasons that we won't spoil here.
If you want an additional clue, we picked three emoji that might give you a hint about each scene. If they don't make sense now, hopefully they will when the show airs: 🐢 🍆 ⛪
But the video is also notable for giving us a glimpse of Balfe and Heughan in Claire and Jamie's older makeup, since the duo are playing their characters both in the immediate aftermath of their separation at the end of Season 2, and at various other points over a 20-year span before Claire decides to go back through the Standing Stones to try and reunite with her lost love.
It's easier to spot in Balfe's darker hair, which is streaked with gray and considerably longer than it was when we last saw her older self in Season 2:

But Jamie's distinctive red hair also seems lighter with age (and the sun, no doubt) since the action is shifting to a decidedly balmier locale than the frigid Scottish Highlands in Season 3.
Naturally, both Jamie and Claire are aging well -- and we'd expect nothing less, from two people as genetically blessed as Heughan and Balfe.

As Balfe and Heughan happily remind us, we're only three months away from the show's September premiere, which means that the end of the droughtlander is in sight. In the meantime, let's refill our scotch and discuss everything that's happening in the first Season 3 teaser trailer to kill some time.
